Technology Advantage Group Limited (TAG) emerged as one of the top IT companies in Ghana at the just-ended 13th Ghana Information Technology and Telecoms Awards (GITTA) in Accra last week by picking three prestigious honours for its sterling performance in the industry over the years.

The indigenous information technology (IT) solution provider of choice was adjudged IT Company of the Year and ICT Business Enabler of the Year at the annual event that rewards players’ hard work and exceptional contributions to the growth of the sector.
The CEO of TAG, Mr Ernest Brown, was also conferred with the IT Entrepreneur of the Year, in recognition of his distinguished service, innovation, and leadership role in the ICT space.
The triple awards from GITTA add to TAG’s growing honours in acknowledgment of its commitment to service excellence, industry standards, and the growth of clients’ businesses and the sector as a whole.

The CEO of TAG said it was a proud moment for management and staff of the budding company, emphasizing that the awards were made possible by the trust and loyalty of customers.
“We work hard, provide exceptional services and products, and aim to grow clients’ businesses, but above all, it is the commitment of staff and the continuous patronage of our customers that keep us in business.”

The CEO said the triple honours would inspire TAG to continue giving off its best to better the businesses and lives of clients.
He dedicated the awards to TAG Staff and its customers and assured them that the firm will not be complacent but will work even harder to bring innovations and solutions that grow their businesses.
He also appealed to the general public and businesses to entrust their ICT concerns with the company as it had demonstrated over the years that it was the preferred choice for anything ICT in Ghana.

Previous honours
TAG was previously rewarded as the Emerging ICT Company of the Year in 2020 and the ICT Consulting Company of the Year in 2021 at the GITTA awards.

Ernest Brown

Chief Executive Officer

With over two decades of experience in ICT, especially in software and systems business, Mr.Ernest Brown is not only a founding member but also serves as a director at 3S Technologies; his impressive career includes previous roles as Country Manager for NCS Equatorial Guinea and Executive Director at Zipnet. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Technology Advantage Group. He is an alumnus of the University of Ghana and possesses an Executive Masters in Distributed Systems conferred by the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) based in Trieste, Italy. In his professional journey, Mr. Brown served as the President of GISPA (Ghana Internet Service Providers Association) and participated on numerous governing boards, including those of GIFEC (Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communication) and NITA (National Information Technology Agency), all agencies under the ministry of 3 communication. Mr. Brown is fervently dedicated to advancing Ghana’s ICT sector through the implementation of innovative and transformative solutions designed to enhance users’ lives and create job opportunities for young IT engineers.
